Romance Me Baby

I'll save my Two Cents for Tuesday but here is some spare change:
Having hubby in a separate country really sucks the romance right out of a Valentine's Day. I know there are love letters and conversation..blah blah blah. That is all fine and dandy. I just want my hysterically hot MANgerie wearing hubby home. NOW.

Please Note: "MANgerie" is not to be confused with "Menagerie". Menagerie refers to a royal animal collection and "MANgerie" is well…..it's…ummmm…..well…..not that. "MANgerie" is a bad idea. When a woman says to her hubby, "Lingerie" is for men not women. She means that women's lingerie is overrated and very uncomfortable. She does NOT mean that she wants hubby to sport some red hot mesh "mangerie". Only the hottest of men can work "mangerie" and even then only after the hottest man's wife finally manages to stop laughing hysterically.
Have I told you lately how much I love my estrogen challenged hubby?

Two Cents Tuesday is coming up and I would love to see some two cents on ROMANCE. So get ready to give it up. Share some two cents on anything from keeping romance alive to snagging some or just plain avoiding it. Two Cents Mr. Linky will go up Monday night ALOHA time.

MANgerie, huh. Trust me, your hubby not the only one to venture down that road!! However, it really should stay a road less travelled!

I can't play, my romantic life is right there along with yours... he's in another country and doesn't get that I don't find silly little straps of lace an aphrodisiac. I'm all about comfort-- and warmth, give me fleece and an electric blanket while he's away.

Bummer ma'am. Hubs and I were looking forward to Valentines day, as the last 7 years we have been away from eachother for your same reason. This would be our first Valentines day together. Somewhere in the fates of the universe decided to send a new plan. Hubs got sent to Oklahoma this morning, for 2 weeks.... Oy! He did however come up with a plan, Apparently it involves me, our 2 kids, driving to New Mexico and a weekend hotel reservation! Not exactly romantic, but at least we might get to see eachother.

I bet your hubs has something up his sleeve. They always do. Wishing you the best!

MANgerie. A new word that I LOVE. Believe me, your guy is not the first or the last to make this tragic mistake. I think my hysterical laughter sucked the romance right out of last Valentine's Day night!

Sorry you're feeling blue with your husband away.

On the "making lemonade" side of things, at least your eyes will be spared the sight of the mangerie for a while.
