SHADOW PLAY PICTURE TIPS

Top Five Reasons for Silhouette Photographs
5. They are timeless
4. They make digital tummy tucks a cinch
3. No uncomfortable posing is required
2. Even rioting anti picture taking children look peaceful
1. My legs are hairy and you can't even tell! HA! Razor's are so overrated.
Silhouette pics are always stunning and the closest you will ever get to seeing me in my bikini on the beach. They are so mom friendly because they capture nothing more than the spirit of the moment. I won't look back on this picture and think "What was I wearing???" Instead I will remember the sunset and us linked together.
Now if I could just live the rest of my life back lit!
Shadow Play Tips:
Want your own silhouette pic but don't have anyone to take it? Try photographing your shadow. Take the picture with the camera in front of your body and it won't even show up in the shot. Shadow pics are also the perfect way to to showcase a growing baby bump if your pregnant!!
Just make sure the light is behind what you are photographing and click away. Clothes aren't important but posture is. The more "gaps" in the body the better, arms spread, leg bent etc....
If your silhouette picture turns out too bright just increase the contrast and adjust the brightness but don't forget to save the original!!!

Angela invited me to participate in
her new Friday High Five and you know I just couldn't resist a great blog carnival with loose rules. Just five things, any things!! You should click over and join in.

Absolutely magical. Just beautiful.

I can't wait for it to get back to being beach weather. Maybe this year I'll even be brave enough to take my camera along (and then quickly run it back to the car before it gets sandy!).
