These petal pouts make adorable gifts for baby showers. Tuck them in an organza bag and you have a fabulous boutique baby gift. Break out the hot glue right now and you might even set the trend for Jennifer Garner and Ben's little Seraphina. You are just seconds away from pacie couture..
Instructions:
1. Break apart a flower by removing and discarding the plastic pieces.
2. Reassemble the flower by hot gluing the petals back together.
3. Glue the flower to the top of the pacifier.
4. Cover the small hole in the center of the flower by securely gluing a flat back crystal or pearl over it.
5. POOF! You're done. Now wasn't that easy?
You Will Need:
A Hot Glue Gun
Flat back Pearl or Crystal Center
Small Flower Head

Additional Tips:
Ranunculus and small roses work well. Stick to other petals like hydrangeas and cherry blossoms or you will cover up baby's cute face.
Get creative. Layer petals and blend different flower petals. You don't have to use the entire flower.
I just wish I had designed these for my first pacifier loving daughter. Instead the photographer and I had to play pull the pacifier. I would snag it, he would click and I would try to pop it back in before princess wreaked havoc on the earth.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
Portrait Pacifiers make wonderful photo props. However, never leave your baby unsupervised with anything that has small parts.

I'm so glad you added the disclaimer to the bottom. I was thinking the whole time, "Humph. Looks dangerous." Tuesdays make me grumpy, you see.
But with the disclaimer... Safety taken care of. I say: Yay! so cute.
That is so stinkin' cute! I will definitely try this for the next baby shower that I will inevitably be invited to. :)
Too cute!!!
Adorable. :o)
Congrats on your SITS feature!
Some people are so clever!! What a great idea!!
Hi from SITS! :-)
Very cute, I could have used those 15 years ago! My twin girls had too many pouty faces in pictures, from that paci yanking routine!
Stopping by from SITS!
So adorable and yet another thing that makes me go "why the heck did i never THINK of this???"
So precious!
Over from SITS to say hello.
So cute! I'm definitely going to have to try it!
That is soooo cute! Happy SITS day!
Adorable! I am expecting my first girl right now, and am so excited to do the bows and frills and dresses... now I can spruce up the pacifier as well! Thank you!
This is sooo cute!
Way cute. I love the flower blossoming from the baby's mouth look. Happy SITS day!
That's a great idea for really wee ones. I imagine it'd be a bit of a pull-it-apart-and-eat-it hazard once the baby gets to a certain age, though. Sorry, just had to put that out there...
I still think it's a sweet idea for a teeny baby!
That is adorable! None of my kids would take a pacifier, but I will remember this for the next baby shower I go to.
Very cute! I'll have to pass this idea on to my friend who is a new mommy. Her little one will look too adorable with a petal pout!
Great Idea!
So cute!

Now that is a precious idea!

Those are too cute - I wish my mother had had some! 90% of my pictures from birth to three years involve at least one pacifier stuffed in my mouth... and a few in my hands.... ;)

Oh yay! How exciting for you to get your day in the SITS sun. :)
I think I want one of those pacifiers for myself. I'd look hot in my pictures!!
Those are really cute! My son was never into pacifiers...I remember one night, out of sheer desperation, my husband actually tried to scotch-tape a pacifier to his face. At the time I didn't approve, but looking back I can definitely laugh about it.

Visiting from SITS!
Thanks so much for this adorable idea. I'm making one for a baby shower this week and including these instructions.
DIRECTIONS: When baby begins to scream & shout, ever so swiftly insert petal pout.
