Fragments

I'm having a hard time finding a good woman. I never realized that snagging hubby and starting a family would force me to play the "friend field". Being a single woman dating was easy compared to play dates and the search for my forever mommy friend. I'm looking for a mommy friend that must not be offended when Baby helps herself to a side of breast milk or when Big Sis lifts her dress and uses the hem as a tissue. Her children must be comparable in age and not try to poke the cat's eyes out when they visit. Her husband must be pleasant or just silent, I'm flexible.

I adored the comments on your two cents about extended breastfeeding. You all made me feel so much better about breastfeeding the baby until she goes to college. Why don't any of you understanding mothers live by me?
I do love my fellow blog moms. The wonderful thing is that when we move again I won't have to say Goodbye to any of you. Goodbye is the hardest part of being a military family.

My blog is rioting. First Mr. Linky stood me up for Two Cents Tuesday. He's back now. Feel free to still drop your two cents in a post and link up. I am also having a hard time visiting my favorite blogs. Hmmmmmm

Did you know you can order a box of crumbs from Long John Silver's and they will scoop those tasty crispy balls of fried goodness up for you for FREE? Can you believe it?

I love the crumbs from Long John Silvers. I didn't know they would do that for me. (can you hear the choir singing in the background). WOW. I may not be able to wait until tonight for a delicious crumb box. Thanks for the info.

I wish I lived closer to you. I think that my little one and husband would get along great with all of you. It took me two years to find my friend. I got a plus on that because she is a Mom and is just like in me in some ways and different in others. Oh how I missed not having a close friend. I got Mr. Linky up on my page today if you want to play along. Happy Mother's Day to my favorite blogging Mommy. How is the baby?

Mr Linky was out for a few hours the other day and everyone was in a frenzy!

Okay, you must move to Georgia because I'm pretty sure I would deliver on all requirements.

And, I know about the crunchies...but there is no LJS anywhere near me!

LOL'ing at LJS crumbs. I do that all of the time. It's the best free thing in the world, I think. :)

Although my kids are older, I get tired of having mommy friends--people in general IRL get on my nerves. I think I may need therapy. Why aren't IRL people as normal and fun as my bloggy friends? I just don't know. Have a great Mother's Day!

Since I don't eat fish the LJS thing kind of grosses me out. I Know what you mean it is hard to find a new friend in new place. It took me two years to find my one and only gal pal where I live and she still lives 80 miles from me. I fear the day we move again and I have to start over.

I'm not a mommy but I'm having the same issue finding girlfriends too. After all my friends getting married and moving away, and after getting married myself, how are you supposed to make friends?

Does highschool really ever end?

lol, I did know about Long John Silvers doing that! That was my favorite thing as a kid. I would always ask my mom to get me crumbs.

Can't say that I know anything about Long John Silvers. Apparently, I am missing out! Loved catching up with you a bit tonight; you have the best sense of humor and made me laugh with your, "Her husband must be pleasant or just be silent, I'm flexible" comment.

I'm really, really glad for you that you have connected here with friends on-line. Your point about not having to leave us is really great! :)

Sorry about your computer troubles!!!
